about

"SONG vs SONG" is a collection of newly remastered Father Bingo tunes, originally recorded in 2004 – 2006 for the song competition sites SongFight.org and RemixFight.org.

If I had a dime for every time someone told me these fight songs were too bass-heavy, I'd have a buck fifty. So I remixed them and tossed in a few song scraps I had hoped to enter but never finished in time. Enjoy.

Track Name: Everybody

Testing

Maybe we'll forget it, ya know?

Everybody everybody everybody
Everybody sing about Blue
Everybody everybody everybody
Everybody sing about Blue

Maybe we can get something going here, a'right? Maybe you're trying to get something going for yourself, I don't know. Ya know, small guy like me, prob'ly don't mean that much to a big fat cat. Ha ha ha ha! But, maybe I do. Ya know, maybe you are greedy and want more money, you can't never tell. Now this is a good one right here.

Everybody everybody everybody
Everybody sing about Blue

Maybe you can produce me or get me on a record, get me on the shelf, okay?

(Everybody everybody everybody)

And uh see what we can get going here where I can get a little money before I can get off the ground level, I'd appreciate that a lot, ya know.

Might want to put me on a record, you'll be rich.

If I hear anybody singing these that ain't producing me, then you'll most definitely get a lawsuit. Can't blame a man on that, I wrote the damn shit.
Track Name: Tanker Truck
If I close my eyes, there is room to pass you on the shoulder
If I take a chance, will you scream when something goes wrong?

Tanker truck, you can move on ahead
All the signs that I've read
Seem to point to danger
All that I see when I look in the mirror
Is the sun setting down
And I don't know where to go

If I close my eyes, everything is like I remember
If I take a chance, there's no way you're going home
Every little town on this map is a chance to surrender
Every little town is a trap that could leave you alone

Tanker truck, you can move right on by
Every star in the sky
Lights the distant future
All that I see when I look out the window
Is the moon shining bright
And I don't know what went wrong

(How can he go so fast?)

If I close my eyes, there is room to pass you on the shoulder
If I take a chance, will you scream when something goes wrong?
If I close my eyes
If I close my eyes
If I close my eyes
Then I don't know where to go
Track Name: Back From Brazil
Brazil

I just got back from Brazil
And I don't know why I went
Cauze I hate traveling
And I hate moving
And I hate
You

Why'd ya go and hafta ruin my weekend?
Why'd I go and hafta waste my time?
You didn't even really need me there
I spent three days in the same underwear

"Brazil. Where hearts were entertained in June."

I'll never return to Brazil and I'll never go back there again

I spent my time in Brazil
Just waiting around on your couch
While you stood whining
Undeciding
On what we should do

You've lived there for a couple years
You coulda gone and stocked up on some beers
Brazil is where the nuts come from
It's a shame that that's what you've become

"Brazil. Where hearts were entertained in June."

I'll never return to Brazil
And I know I've said this line before
But every time that I get home
I just wind up hating you more
