about

"No covers are allowed, unless you are so creative with it that we can't tell it's a cover." -SongFight FAQ

This is an attempt to cover the 1930s big band song "Embassy Stomp" by Bert Ambrose ... with some of Django Reinhardt's take on "I Got Rhythm" shoehorned in. I figured I'd tack on some movie quotes and sneak it in the fight. But I'd know I was cheating. So I abandoned it before I could make any sense of what I'd recorded thus far.

One day, I will cover this song properly.
